Why we've formed this
collective
This cannabis collective has been formed by and for men and women who suffer
from debilitating pain and other medical issues, to ensure safe and open access
to Medical Marijuana.
Overview of Collective Rules
The rules are simple:
In August 2008, the California State Attorney General published the
GUIDELINES FOR THE SECURITY AND NON-DIVERSION
OF MARIJUANA GROWN FOR MEDICAL USE (see the following
link:
Link to Attorney Generals Website )
Concerning collectives, the document states: "Under California law,
medical marijuana patients and primary caregivers may “associate
within the State of California in order collectively or cooperatively to
cultivate marijuana for medical purposes.” (§ 11362.775.) ..
Collectives: California law does not define collectives, but the
dictionary defines them as “a business, farm, etc., jointly owned and
operated by the members of a group.” (Random House Unabridged
Dictionary; Random House, Inc.© 2006.)
Applying this definition, a collective should be an organization that
merely facilitates the collaborative efforts of patient and caregiver
members – including the allocation of costs and revenues. As such,
a collective is not a statutory entity, but as a practical matter it might
have to organize as some form of business to carry out its activities.
The collective should not purchase marijuana
from, or sell to, non-members; instead, it should only provide a
means for facilitating or coordinating transactions between
members."
As stated above: Collectives may not sell marijuana to non-
members and can legally utilize the collective to coordinate
transactions between members.

What we're all about

The following information is for Americann Collective Members use ONLY,
and should not be shared with anyone outside of the collective at any time!
This is for the protection of our members and the security of the material we
handle.
HOW TO OBTAIN MEDICINE:
- CALL our office or complete the pre-verification form listed on
the "Contact Us" page.
- Bring your valid medical recommendation and photo ID to the
office.
- Complete the simple membership application and pay your
required contribution for whatever product you are requesting.
(Membership applications may also be downloaded and
submitted prior to your first visit, to save time.
It's that simple! From here on out, you're enrolled! Each year you will need to
provide an updated medical recommendation.
There is a $10 minimum contribution for each delivery, and a $30
minimum contribution (including the $10), depending on your
location. Deliveries over ten miles from our office will require a
minimum $75 contribution for an equal amount of medicine. We
charge the minimum $10 for the first five miles from our office
location, then add $1 per mile for the remaining distance. If the
delivery is north of Sacramento and within five miles of Highway 5 or
70, we charge only the initial $10 fee, as we travel the corridor
frequently. Please remember to be flexible with your delivery ti
Please remember, keeping our information confidential is the key to our
success! Until the federal government recognizes the autonomy of our State,
we are under constant risk of being closed! Help us stay open, FOLLOW
THE LAW!
Your expected contribution to support the collective will be based on the
amount of medicine you require. We will attempt to keep costs BELOW the
cannabis clubs' prices, so you don't have to travel long distances to get your
medicine. It's up to each member to REFER THEIR FRIENDS ! As we grow
in size, our costs will decrease substancially! (SEE the EXPECTED
CONTRIBUTION PAGE)
